about mira

Mira (she/her) is an actor, writer, director, stand-up, seamstress, and occasional chair reupholster-er.
She was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina and is a graduate of Bowdoin College where she studied religion and biology.
During her time at Bowdoin, Mira immersed herself in theater. For all four years, she wrote and performed sketch and stand-up comedy as part of Purity Pact, a group of funny ladies and they-dies. Mira also worked for the Theater and Dance department as a technician, building costumes and sets and serving on run-crews. She acted in numerous plays including Men on Boats, The Antipodes, and Failure: a Love Story, and in her final year wrote, designed, built and performed a solo show entitled mint frappe.
Beyond Mira's credits and experience, she is a lover of cappuccinos, the color green, and laundromats. She is happiest when in the theater and hopes to make weird and whimsical drama out in the world.
